Green Melody Zen Heart Chain

Beside a serene ancient temple lived a jade – carving master named Lin Jiang. Since childhood, he had been obsessed with jade carving, and was particularly fond of that fresh green color. One day, while in the mountains, Lin Jiang chanced upon a piece of green jade with a warm luster and regarded it as a precious treasure.
He took the jade back to his workshop. After careful deliberation, he carved it into round beads and strung them into a long chain. Each bead embodied his hard work and his understanding of nature and Zen.
One day,  high – ranking monk passed by Lin Jiang’s workshop and was drawn to this green chain. The monk picked up the chain, closed his eyes for a moment, and said that there seemed to be a power of peace and tranquility within it. Deeply touched, Lin Jiang left the chain in the temple, hoping it could bring spiritual comfort to more people.
Since then, the Green Melody Zen Heart Chain has quietly remained in the ancient temple, accompanying the monks’ morning bells and evening drums, and spreading peace and wisdom.
